The Moon under the sea
PRSFG is pleased to present ‘The Moon Under the Sea’ by Sivasubramaniam Kajendran at 138, Galle Road, Colombo 03.
The vast expanse of the Indian Ocean is not just a source of livelihood for the coastal inhabitants of Sri Lanka; it is inextricably linked to the very fabric of their existence, dictating the culture, spirituality, and daily pace of life. The opening reception will be followed by a performance by the artist, ‘Homeless’ at 7pm.
Kajendran’s work has been featured at Aicon Contemporary, New York, and Rajiv Menon Contemporary, Los Angeles.
Earlier this year Kajendran was selected for the prestigious Cité Internationale des Arts 2025/2026 residency programme in Paris. He is currently exhibiting at India Art Fair 2025.
